Outfit - Black Neon

Since I moved to Dubai I stopped ordering from ASOS as I heard so many horror stories of shipments taking forever to come due to the lack of a good postal system here in Dubai. But this month I found the courage to click some items home and believe it or not, within 4 days I received my package.

One of my new loves is this elongated back top from ASOS, I tucked it in a high waisted black skirt to make it look like a one piece. Because black on black can sometimes be a bit boring I accessorized with neon. The neon heels are from the new H&M collection, in stores now.

PS. There is almost no graffiti in Dubai, in fact I think there is only one graffiti artist in Dubai, the anonymous 'Arcadia Blank'. The clever one-liners written in black pen are always found on temporary construction sites. I'm a fan.

Leila Loves - Feathers

Bio Sculpture Feather Manicure by Dial A Nail, Dubai

I was already aware of the fact that feathers can look great on clothes and accessories so when I was asked to try out a Bio Sculpture Feather Manicure I was all up for that. Dial A Nail beauty salon in Dubai had me over last week to pamper my hands and provide my ring fingers with a feather mani. It's all about subtle details for me so I just did my ring fingers(if you'd like you can do all 10).
You can choose from different kind of coloured feathers but as you can see I picked out a very natural one. To go with that I went for a light colour nail polish to show of the feather.

Outfit - Peekaboo

Wearing a skirt like this on a windy day, may not be the best idea. I wore this outfit to the fashion weekend at Blue Marlin beach club where we relaxed, danced and watched the fashion shows. I'm kind of over the whole sheer skirt look so I think this will be the last we have seen of this skirt.

Wish I Wore - Sequins and silk

Tomorrow are the Grazia Style Awards in Dubai, the Middle East’s most fashionable will be there to celebrate all that the region’s fashion industry has to offer. This year there are over 14 categories, from the new designers making their mark to the shoes you can’t live without

The biggest question is; what am I going to wear to the Grazia Style Awards?
I'm thinking of a simple party dress, sequins and silk seem to be the the perfect combination for an awards night in Dubai. I wish I wore this mixed textured dress by Alice + Oliva, because you can never go wrong with a little sparkle.
