Couple days ago I said I wish I wore pastel denim. I guess I kinda made my wish come true, in a different colour but its still pastel so who cares? Not me.
I'm wearing it with black to tone the look down a bit but I will definitely try to wear it with other colours than the safe black. To be continued...

Outfit - Colour

Location - Riva beach club, The Palm, Dubai

I love this furry jumper but it leaves its hairs everywhere, you have been warned.
The skirt I bought during the Dubai Shopping Festival at Zara. Orange and green are not two colours one would normally combine together but I didn't want to bring out one of my black bags again. I like the way it turned out and that's what fashion is all about, think outside the box.

Wish I Wore - Pastel

Pastel colours are starting to pop up in almost every store and I'm loving it.
Pastels are easier to try out then the bold and bright colour blocking trend from last year and no you don't have to wait to wear it until the summer comes. The denim pieces give you the option of brightening up the winter months, so today I Wish I Wore pastel denim.

Outfit - Black & Yellow

Location: Burj Khalifa, Dubai

The days, weeks, months are flying by in Dubai. Because the temperatures are so nice here, it doesn't feel like winter at all.
But these past couple days it was grey and nippy and I finally realized; it is January.
Also I could finally wear some knitwear. Because this is such a hefty jumper I felt I had to wear it with pointy pumps, which I don't wear that often.

There are so many great locations in Dubai to take photos for my blog, Atlantis on the Palm is definitely one of them.
I'm wearing a lace skirt that I tried to make less girly by pairing it with a grey simple t-shirt, pistol ankle boots and my new Alexander Wang bag. I think my mission was accomplished.

Outfit - Burgundy

When the sun is on its way down you can catch the best light to take photographs.
Since I moved to Dubai I have been lacking a photographer for my blog (if anyone is interested, do let me know). These past weeks my loved ones from the Netherlands came to visit me and I took full advantage and shot some outfits while they were here.

Inspiration - Souk

This inspiration post comes from the Sharjah Souk that I visited last week. Sharjah is one of the seven Emirates and is very close to Dubai. The souk is full of little treasure shops, you come in for one thing and leave with ten other things.

I'm one of the few women who enjoys watching a football game, so when I heard that AC milan was in Dubai for a friendly match against Paris Saint Germain I had to be there. I was lost for an hour before I finally found the stadium but lets not talk about that.
