Streetstyle during fashion week is my favorite. Everybody gets al dressed up and some pull out their most extravagant pieces to WOW the press and the other fashionistas.
Today I experimented with a vintage blazer I've had in my closet for a while now but have never worn. The color of the blazer is not one I'd wear often but it's nice for a change. I also never (ever!) wear my hair up but as this is an experiment outfit I thought why not do something different with my hair.
This is what I wore to a meeting in Amsterdam this tuesday. This is an outfit with all new items. The feather jacket is devine. Super soft and super shiny. I like how it's a nice change to the faux-fur jackets. The leather zipper booties are gorgeous to look at but they walk horrible. I think it's because of the heel placement all the way in the back, combined with the thinness of the heel is what makes it very weird to walk on.
I could see myself wearing these high heeled artistic beauties, the beige are my favorite. You like? You can check/buy the Jeffrey Campbell Skate at Solestruck for $214,95
Rag & Bone has put together a comfortable looking collection that will definitely keep you warm. I especially love the fall 2011 collection of Doo.Ri Chung. The knitwear and the fur, the grey, nude and black, the texture of the garments etc. etc. Jason Wu's dresses and colour choises will make fall 2011 a bit less sober. Who doesn't want to strut their stuff in that red gown? Although I'm really looking forward to spring and summer 2011, seeing these collections one would almost wish it was fall 2011.
Outfit: Blazer; Vintage, Jeans; G-star, Shoes, shirt and red roses bag; H&M, Bracelet; Otazu, Lipstick; Lanvin for H&M
I found these (old) G-star jeans in my closet and it's definitely a fortunate find. I love the colours red and blue mixed together, so I thought I'd accessorize with my red roses bag and red lipstick from the Lanvin for H&M collection. The blue blazer is a vintage find from Ebay.
Today I thought it was time to show you my ASOS leather and wool mix biker jacket. It's a Celine jacket look-a-like. I thought I'd pair it up with leather shorts and my Henry Holland tights. Let me tell you, I have no luck what so ever with Henry Holland tights... I don't know why or how but I manage to make holes in the tights before I even take one step outside the door.
I'm spending my sunday having dinner and maybe a movie after. I want to see Black Swan. Have you seen it yet?
